Initial Ideation
The initial ideation is focused on the laptop problem the case owner faces. These ideations are focused on allowing the case owner to use their laptop without having to look down. There are 2 main groups of ideations.
Group 1
These ideations are focused on laptop adaptation. It includes ideas such as extendable hinges, build in laptop stand and keyboard, and a screen that can adjust its contents to the top half depending on where the user’s eyes are looking at.

Group 2
This group of ideations has more alternative solutions. They still aim to help with the laptop problem, but through a different way than a mechanically adjusted laptop. One idea could be prism or mirror glasses that allow the person to look straight ahead but view the laptop contents. Another idea could be displaying the screen at a higher angle using some kind of reflector or holographic technology.
Although a good start, it felt quite narrow still. This was also feedback from the context presentation: try to broaden your perspective. Therefore, a second interview and more research was conducted. This led to the development of multiple concept directions.
