Context Presentation
Next, we presented our context finding, elaborating our process, insights and design challenge to our peers to gather valuable feedback. From the interview, we conclude that we should design a product that minimizes our case owner’s neck pain while working on a laptop. Since they specifically mentioned the need for an adjustable screen height, our design challenge naturally aligned with this idea. We then formulated a research question, which was focused on minimizing pain while using a laptop.
Feedback
We got useful feedback, with the most common suggestion being to broaden our focus. Many advised us to explore more options beyond just the laptop issue and consider other challenges that our case owner faces in their daily life. This means that we should get more personal with their, find more challenges that they face and provide multiple design solutions. Additionally, paying more attention to our research question would further support out design process.
